Chris Hood shares Fox Broadcasting’s API Strategy

I recently presented at Apigee’s I Love APIs City Tour in Los Angeles. It was a fun event, casual and memorable. If the City Tour comes to your area, I would highly recommend attending.

My presentation was on the design and development of a fully integrated digital ecosystem, powered by Drupal, Akamai and Apigee. While working on the website for Fox.com, we needed an environment to publish next-day viewing of television shows, across 12 unique platforms. This is just a tiny taste of how we did it.

Each “I Love APIs” City Tour event will include:

  • Morning business track: Attendees can gain an understanding for what it takes to develop a successful digital business strategy using APIs.
  • Afternoon technical track: Attendees can learn about modern architectures and how to implement an API-first strategy.
  • Evening networking reception: An opportunity to connect with other attendees at a reception including drinks and hors d’oeuvres.

It is scheduled for March 24, 2015 in London. “I Love APIs” Europe 2015 is a one-day conference and will feature tracks for business leaders and IT leaders.
